Gay Friendly Cities
Travel and Leisure has an index of gay friendly cities on their web site. I’m not sure I like the listing.
The first thing you need to know is they didn’t have a comprehensive list of cities. Fort Lauderdale is not on their list. Other major cities like Charlotte are not included. So the whole thing seems kind of limited in value. I suppose if you were considering a vacation in one of those cities, it is useful for helping decide which one. There are many other indexes you can check out on the site as well. It’s worth a look, but just not as useful as it might seem at first glance due to the fact that it’s a listing of just 25 cities.
Gay.com has a nice travel section that is probably more useful.
